8"- 12" Nylon puppy collar for an English Bulldog
puppy.
6"-8" collar for our French bulldogs.
Also having a dog tag with contact information.
5' Lightweight nylon leash with lightweight buckle
Crate - Medium size: 30″ L x 19″ W x 21″ H
Optional: Playpen that the crate can be inside of. This will give your puppy a little play area that can easily be cleaned if need be. If you're worried about protecting your floors you can purchase a waterproof tarp to line the floor to prevent damage until he/she is potty trained.
I prefer stainless steel bowls as plastic and ceramic bowls can harbor bacteria. We recommend your new puppy remain on TOW pacific stream for its diet, as well as continue the Nuvet, Nujoint & Bstrong supplementation for overall health, support & longevity. We use tricky trainers for rewards while doing any type of training. Our most loved flavors are peanut butter, liver and salmon.
Puppy bed with side bolsters or circle bed. Normally I like to use something that I can easily throw in the washer in the event they potty on it.
Puppy toys!
Any interactive puzzle toys that make them think.
Kong or licky mats to keep your puppy engaged.
REMEMBER NEVER EVER RAWHIDES!
Our daily routine starts at 630am for breakfast. For my puppies I fill their bowl up with kibble (2cups) I also add the B strong powder, Nuvet Wafer and Nujoint Wafer. I do crush them for my puppies but as adults they take them as treats. Depending on the puppy some finish everything and some don't this isn't a huge issue because I free feed my puppies for the first 6 months of their lives to ensure that they are consuming enough calories from their diet to support their rapid growth. What is free feeding? Free feeding is where I continue to fill up their bowl with food. I do this from 630am-1pm. At 1 pm I pull the food bowl; this will give my puppy enough time to fully digest all food they have eaten by the end of the day making potty training overnight easier and less messy. Our water bowl will remain accessible until 7pm and then at 7pm I pull that bowl as well. With a new puppy there will always be accidents especially in the beginning but doing this will minimize the severity of that mess. Normally during the day my kids will play with the puppies or hold them on the couch when this happens the puppy will nap and when they wake up, we know that they have to potty right away. If the puppies are playing, we know to look for signs that they are looking for an area to potty. We call this the potty dance, it is a series of circles, walking back and forth, sniffing until they find their spot. It's fairly easy to spot this and pick them up quickly to bring them outside. I love working with timers, the max time a puppy seems to hold their bladder for at 8-10 weeks of age is roughly 20-30 min.
